The Alden House Inn Has Awakened from Hibernation!
We re-opened for business on March 7.
It’s hard to believe the winter is almost over. While the mid-Atlantic states got absolutely pelted with snow, we enjoyed an uncharacteristically mild winter in Belfast. The poor things may suffer consequences for being overly optimistic, but our daffodils, johnny jump-ups, and even some herbs are poking out of the soil.
The Emily Alden Room makeover is almost complete. Some photos of the early stages of its transformation can be seen on our Facebook page. New photos will be posted very soon!
Even as we re-open, projects are continuing. Some of them are simple painting or maintenace jobs. Others, such as the opening of our gift shop are more fundamental. We will continue to keep you posted.
